Hoptoberfest 2025: Bourbon, Community, and Great Company

What a weekend! Hoptoberfest in Vernon Hills was one for the books — and we’re still smiling about all the incredible people we met. There’s nothing quite like connecting with fellow bourbon and whiskey enthusiasts, swapping stories, and seeing that spark when someone takes their first sip and truly gets it.

From seasoned collectors to the newly curious, it was a joy to share a little Bourbon 101, pour a few samples, and maybe even make a few new converts along the way. The energy at the festival was infectious — from the clink of tasting glasses to the lively conversations at our booth, it reminded us why we do what we do. Bourbon isn’t just a drink; it’s a shared experience that brings people together.

A Special Thank-You

We’re especially grateful to our friends at Chicken Cock Whiskey, who joined us at the booth and made the day even more memorable. Their support and partnership mean the world to us, and we’re proud to work alongside a brand that believes in what we’re building at Aged in Oak. Together, we’re helping more people discover the stories, craftsmanship, and heritage behind every great bottle of bourbon.
